Due to bad weather forecast for the day we have to postpone the launch of Summer Cinema and open-air screening of Back To The Future.... Refunds are available from the ticket provided if you cannot make the re-scheduled date so stay tuned, we'll be announcing soon. Sorry for any inconvenience caused but open-air cinema is so much nicer in the sun
We’re launching our season of open-air cinema with a special screening of Back to the Future in Merrion Square. Join us as we venture into the past and explore the future with Doc Brown and Marty McFly through a series of DeLorean based shenanigans! On May 18th, we’ll be gathering in the lovely surrounds of Merrion Square, enjoying a great film, some soul-stirring, toe-tapping beats with live music performances and fun activities.
Back To The Future follows Marty McFly, a typical American teenager of the Eighties, is accidentally sent back to 1955 in a plutonium-powered DeLorean "time machine" invented by a slightly mad scientist. During his often hysterical, always amazing trip back in time, Marty must make certain his teenage parents-to-be meet and fall in love - so he can get back to the future.
Bring warm, weatherproof clothing. There will be some seating provided, but advisable to bring your own and as always there'll be food, coffee and other goodies available on the night!
Gates are open from 7.00pm with the film kicking off when the sun goes down (10.00pm)
Tickets are €5 and are available from https://www.usheru.com/cinema-listings/back-to-the-future/happenings-merrion-square?&idFestival=203
