Gates open at 19:30. Film starts at 9:30 when it's dark enough to show the film. Tickets, €10 for grown ups (or anyone over 12), €5 for under 12's on the gate. Donations from your tickets will go to First Fortnight, the mental health arts festival, which challenges mental health prejudice through creative arts. Tony Bates from Headstrong will also attend and speak.
With the tragic passing of a true legend Robin Williams, we think its time to open up the conversation on mental health. There is no shame in seeking help, it only proves your strength. Please talk to someone. If you feel you can't talk to friends and family, The Samaritans will take your call any time day or night on 116 123 or contact Pieta http://www.pieta.ie/
IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ
Our ticket price has had to increase in Fitzwilliam Sq (€10 for adults) to ensure that we can continue to run these special Happenings events. Unfortunately our costs have increased due to the damage caused in Fitzwilliam Square and the extra staff needed to protect the square. We're bringing in much better equipment to improve the sound quality. We are now limiting the amount of people we admit to a screening, which will mean a much more comfortable experience (less queues, more space & again, better sound quality)
We really hope you'll continue to come along to these very special experiences in this beautiful space.
This is a Leave-No-Trace event. This means we'll give you a plastic bag on your way in for all your rubbish (even cigarettes) and ask you to kindly bring it all the way home with you after the event.
Anyone rocking up with HUGE amounts of alcohol & crates of beer will not be permitted entry!
Delicious food on the night will be provided by Irish Village Markets, Caryna's Cakes and Vintage Flair.
