The opening screening at Dalymount Park is free for all Bohemians members and season ticket holders. Our away match at the Brandywell vs. Derry City will be shown in the Phoenix Bar after the documentary.

Seating will be in the covered grandstand, so everyone will be sheltered from whatever elements the Irish weather brings.

A fascinating look back at the bizarre events that led to League of Ireland players flying to Libya to play Muammar al-Gaddafi’s national team in 1989 - a time when Haughey and Gaddafi enjoyed a mutual admiration, and Irish beef and Libyan munitions flowed between the two countries. What did the players from St. Pats and Bohs make of being invited to play for a dictator? Were they endorsing a tyrant? Were they expected to lose the game? All of these questions and more are bemusingly recounted by Brian Kerr and the players themselves in Kevin Brannigan’s unique documentary. The Bohemian Environmental Justice Film Festival (BEFF) takes place from 8-11 September 2022. It is the first festival focused on the stories of people and communities on the front lines of the fight against environmental catastrophe.
