You had me at time travelling DeLorean.

In this 1980s sci-fi classic, small-town California teen Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) is thrown back into the '50s when an experiment by his eccentric scientist friend Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) goes awry. Traveling through time in a modified DeLorean car, Marty encounters young versions of his parents (Crispin Glover, Lea Thompson), and must make sure that they fall in love or he'll cease to exist. Even more dauntingly, Marty has to return to his own time and save the life of Doc Brown.

Grab your gang and join us in Pembroke Cricket Club/Monkstown Rugby Club, there'll be a BBQ on the day to supply you with grub and all you need for a time-hopping great time. Doors will be at 7pm and the show kicks off when the evening gets dark enough.

Here at Happenings we loooove to be environmentally friendly and strive to make all our events as sustainable as possible. In that regard, we highly encourage all our smashing Happenistas to arrive by bike or public transport. Pembroke Cricket Club/Monkstown Rugby Club is very well catered for buses with the 47, C1 & C2 all stopping right outside the door and the 4, 7 & 7A all nearby too. Also, the Sandymount and Sydney Parade DART stops are within very easy walking distance. If arriving by flying DeLorean, the landing area is to the left of the screen, but watch out for the crease.

As this is an outdoor event, please remember to bring anything you need to make sure you stay comfy and cosy throughout the evening.

Finally, we'd be very appreciative if you left no trace, we will have general and recycling bins on site to pop any rubbish into during and after the event.
