The opening premier of the inaugural Bohemian Environmental Justice Film Festival (BEFF) is a film like nothing you’ve ever experienced.
Neptune Frost tells the story of the meeting of an intersex runaway hacker and a coltan miner in a Burundian e-waste camp and the resulting spark that ignite a rebellion against the authoritarian regime. Dream-like imagery and African rhythms combine to create a hallucinatory vision of possible futures, as the film celebrates new ways of resisting, connecting, and being. This extraordinary film features original songs and rhymes by co-director Saul Williams.
Age Recommendation: 15+
