"Nothing Compares"

A celebration of Sinead O’Connor

Join us for a poignant tribute to Sinéad O’Connor, on the first anniversary of her passing. On July 26th 2024 we will be hosting an open-air screening of the documentary "Nothing Compares" in Merrion Square Park, Dublin 2.

Renowned broadcaster Donal Dineen will lead a pre-screening discussion with Kathryn Ferguson, the director of "Nothing Compares," offering unique insights into the making of the documentary and Sinead O'Connor's extraordinary journey, Jeannette Byrne, Sinead's first music teacher. Pre-screening musical performances and ceremonial piece to be announced shortly.

The evening will be a heartfelt celebration of Sinead O'Connor's music, spirit, and impact on Irish culture. Bring your friends and family to honor the life and legacy of this extraordinary Irish artist, under the starlit sky.

Food and refreshments will be available on the night, bring chairs, mats or cushions and everything you need to be comfortable. Keep an eye on the weather reports.

This is an alcohol free event.

There will be a charitable donation to The Aisling Project from the night.
