AMAZING WEATHER! So we're bringing a double-bill of the well-loved Wallace & Gromit films to Fitzwilliam Square this sunny Thursday evening! The Wrong Trousers & A Close Shave.

We will of course be holding strictly wonderful competitions: Make sure to wear your wackiest wrong trousers to enter Wallace & Gromit’s techno-trouser competition (shorts & skirts can enter too). And there’ll be prizes for the best beards in the park (fake ones count!)

Gates open at 8pm. Films start at 10.30pm (when it's dark enough to show the films). They'll be over by 11.30pm.

Tickets €8 online, €10 on gate. €5 for under 16's on the gate.

IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ We are now selling tickets online as well as on the gate. This is to avoid having huge numbers being turned-away like at previous events.

Our ticket price has had to increase (€8/€10) to ensure that we can continue to run these special Happenings events. Unfortunately our costs have increased due to the damage caused to the square and the extra staff needed to protect the square. We're bringing in much better equipment to improve the sound quality. We are now limiting the amount of people we admit to a screening, which will mean a much more comfortable experience (less queues, more space & again, better sound quality)

This is a Leave-No-Trace event. Anyone rocking up with large amounts alcohol & crates of beer will not be permitted entry!

Delicious food on the night will be provided by Irish Village Markets and the very tasty Caryna's Cakes.
