Happenings, in association with the St. Patrick's Festival, present 'Remembering Luke.'

Thirty years have passed since the light went out on one of Ireland’s most important cultural icons. In this frank and revealing documentary, Remembering Luke, the story of Luke Kelly is revealed. From his birth in inner city Dublin to his tragic, early death forty four years later, this poignant exploration of the musician’s life will be fittingly screened in the establishment where he regularly played with The Dubliners.

Contributions from Ronnie Drew, Christy Moore, The Dubliners, John Hume, Shane McGowan, Gerry Adams and Luke’s own family, are all featured in the film recounting the life and times of this highy regarded and much loved Irish music legend.

Screening 1: 10am Screening 2: 12pm followed by Q&A - Happenings interviews documentary director Sinead O’Brien plus special guest.
