‘Centenary Cinema' is a programme of Open Air Cinema Screenings that Happenings are running between August and October 2016 to celebrate some of the best of Irish Cinema from the last one hundred years. Each of these screenings will be an event in itself where the guests attending will not only celebrate the film, but also highlight historical, political, and cultural issues that have effected Irish society over the decades.  A donation from each of these screenings will be made to a charity or a cause chosen by the guests and Happenings will also work alongside the nominated charity to heighten awareness for their cause.

After an amazing success of Centenary Cinema’s open air screening of “The Queen of Ireland” and "The Wind The Shakes The Barley", we are now happy to share our next three screenings!
